Note
In 1713, Dr Samuel Blithe, Master of the College, bequeathed £6000 for the purchase of advowsons to be offered to Fellows in an attempt to speed the succession to Fellowships. In the early twentieth century its income has been used to establish new Fellowships and Scholarships, establish a pensions fund for the Fellowship and to augment existing advowsons.
