Includes letters from friends and colleagues with memories of Forbes including Lord Adrian, David Attenborough, John Betjeman, Alistair Cooke, Mrs T.S. Eliot, Margaret Diggle.

The majority of the letters were filed in alphabetical order by name of correspondent and stored in a filing box. The order and filing pages have been maintained but the collection is now divided into two envelopes. Other loose correspondence has been added to the sequence.
