The mss from Rugby school that Forbes made some notes from are titled "1829, fragment of a preface to a proposal", "1831, on the present state of the question of Christian evidence", "Theological 2" and "English Politics, written in 1835 but never published".
The Thirkill Travel Awards were set up after the retirement of Sir Henry Thirkill as Master and subsequent funds were provided from his estate. Mentioned in Council minutes, 1983-1988.
