Some anecdotes of the late Revd Barnabas Oley communicated by the Revd Dr Walton of Upton to Revd Mr Bigg
William Walton (admitted 1728) was rector of Upton, 1748 - 1789
John Bigg (admitted 1736) was vicar of Great Gransden, 1760 - 1795, and one of the trustees of the Oley Trust.
Set up in the Fellows' Library, using Rare Book cases as well as Archive cases.
This was the first 'public' Archive exhibition since 1988! An opportunity for Fellows, staff and students to view items from the Archives. The Choir sang some Cecil Sharp folk songs - for which manuscripts were on display. It was held in the Latimer Room, Old Court.
Part of the exhibition was repeated for the Blythe Society luncheon in May 2006.
Files contain display posters, layout plans, captions and photographs.
Notebook contains tables divided into 'day' and 'findings' columns. Some graphs also included.
This series relates to donations by William Spicer towards the building of a chapel at Clare College and the establishment of a scholarship at Trinity Hall
