The layout of the exam results usually begins with third year results in the first column, followed by second and then first year results. Also some wartime administrative papers including notes on caution money and subscriptions to Clare Association, c. 1941-1942. From the 1960's onwards are also included lists of students nominated for prizes and also exam results arranges by subject rather than alphabetically by student.
Presumably compiled by the Tutor, these also acted as draft registers of admissions: the third volume lists the student's former school as well as the permanent address.

Records of Fellows' turns of preaching 1919-1927 and undergraduate churchwardens 1921-26. A note in 1927 explains that no further record of services was kept after 1927. The volume was reused from 1951 for Chapel accounts 1951-1961, listing numbers of communicants at each service, amounts collected and destination of collection money.
