In Sassoon's hand is written: 'I suggested various leg-pulls, such as Palazzo Barborini, Rolf's Roost, The Boozings, Vintner's, and Chateaux Rentier'.

According to the Lady Clare Magazine Easter Term 1926:
"The General Strike interfered greatly with the work of the crews, and on the resumption of training we had to make a fresh start with the work".
