John Siberch - The First Cambridge Printer, 1521-1522 by George J. Gray produced in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of printing in Cambridge. Examples of Siberch's works are held in the Clare Fellows Library.

Information concerning the fireplace in the Hall, the elaborate Victorian surround that was installed in the 1870s, the simpler version that replaced it in 1935 and it's subsequent complete removal in the late 1970s/ early 1980s.
Also includes anecdotes concerning undergraduates having to walk down tables to get out of the middle of benches during a meal.
